La Kika
MA Puppetry and Digital Animation final project.
This piece is inspired by the current socio-political situation in her native Mexico.
Dealers trading drugs, trading dreams, trading lives. A town forced to change at gunpoint. Tired, a boy decides to take action. But maybe his steps take him down a road with no return.
Jiquilpan, Michoacan. A town. A story. A child is born. A man is murdered. Mexico. All is changed.
